After high school, I studied business while working part-time in a video store and a rest home. I then completed pre-trade studies in automotive mechanics and an electrical engineering diploma.Moving to Christchurch, I started as an electrician. After maternity leave in 2019, I returned as an assistant electrical estimator and was promoted to estimator within six months, managing and estimating projects from design to completion.Early 2024, I completed a small business course and now work as a design estimator for high and low voltage distribution networks. My diverse experiences have not only deepened my understanding of electrical and mechanical principles but also enhanced my business skills, making me well-prepared and adaptable for a wide range of office roles. I appreciate how these varied paths have shaped my life and perspectives, enabling me to contribute effectively in any setting.
