I work on various art projects within Falkirk Community TrustVisual Arts Assistant – The Park Gallery, Callendar House• Exhibition research, co-ordination and installation• Implementing a shop within the gallery space (which changes every exhibition) and managing the stock for each exhibition• Developing innovative marketing ideas and writing press packs• Design and content of print media• Visitor Interpretation• Educational Resources and Workshops with Nurseries, Schools, College and Community Groups• Managing upcoming ARTIST ROOM exhibition (Ian Hamilton Finlay) and individual project objectives with The Tate, NGS, Art Fund, Alec Finlay and Ken Cockburn• Founding a Park Gallery Youth Ambassador scheme which includes 5 representatives from local High Schools working with them on various projects, building their own blog/website, taking them on trips for educational visits and giving them valuable work experience in a gallery setting• Creating and running Pop Up Shops to support local artistsHelix Community Engagement Coordinator – Working on ‘Roofless’ with UZ Arts• Project co-ordinator with the following artists – Alex Rigg, Rachel Mimiec, Maria McCavana, Mischief La Bas, Stagecode, Conflux, Kenny Bean, Sumit Sarkar, Thor McIntyre and Darren Wilson• Organising community engagement with a diverse range of local groups (30+ groups) – including targeting correct groups for each artist, organising workshop times and venues• Writing marketing plan and press packs• Organising, managing and installing a 5000sq foot shop for a 6 month information portal and artist workshop destination• Artist site visits to Helix Park (under construction) and production meetings• Designing print media with Design team• Identifying opportunities for projects and groups to work together
