• The goal of this position is to improve participation and engagement with the Office of Entrepreneurship and Innovations Partnerships and guide entrepreneurship at Binghamton University. Contributions include the following:• Adjunct Regional I-Corps Instructor involved in teaching lectures on the Business Model Canvas, providing feedback to teams using I-Corps method of radical candor• Reviewing applications/executive summaries and preparing our I-Corps regional teams for NSF I-Corps Teams Program • Collecting and organizing our I-Corps Regional participation data for use in grants and progress reports• Outreach to Binghamton University students, Alumni, STEM clubs, STEM departments to improve engagement and participation in the I-Corps Program and other programs supporting entrepreneurship and translational research commercialization

• Investigate a possible pathogenesis and prevalence of Clostridum innocuum in antibiotic associated diarrhea • Investigate various aspects of Clostridioides difficile pathogenesis, clinical and molecular epidemiology, antibiotic resistance, and host immune response• Design and implement research protocols; design safety procedures; adapt new procedures, methods or instrumentation relative to research procedures.• Collect, prepare and analyze research data; keep a detailed notebook summarizing experiments and recording research data; maintain computer database of research data; tabulate and display data for presentation in research conferences and for manuscript preparation; use graphics and statistical software to analyze and present data.• Manuscript data collection, preparation, and submission • Aid in supervision of other personnel in the laboratory and aid in general laboratory maintenance

During my time as a postdoctoral researcher at Lurie Children's Hospital/Northwestern University, I was awarded a T32 Immunology and Molecular Pathogenesis Training Program (IMPTP) sponsored by NIH-NIAID. This year long award provided funding and training support for my C. innocuum and antibiotic associated diarrhea project at Lurie Children's Hospital.

• Investigated the regulatory mechanisms associated with chronic infections, antimicrobial resistance, and bacterial biofilm formation and dispersion.• Design and implement research protocols; design safety procedures; adapt new procedures, methods or instrumentation relative to research procedures.• Collect, prepare and analyze research data; keep a detailed notebook summarizing experiments and recording research data; maintain computer database of research data; tabulate and display data for presentation in research conferences and for manuscript preparation; use graphics and statistical software to analyze and present data.• Aid in supervision of other personnel in the laboratory (e.g graduate students and undergraduate independent research projects) to coordinate research efforts for increased efficiency; participate in training of fellows, residents, students and volunteer workers as needed.• Search pertinent scientific literature as needed.• Assist with ordering and procurement of supplies and equipment and with general maintenance of laboratory.

• Conducted Molecular Biology Laboratory, an upper level biology laboratory practical course.• Taught advanced molecular biology techniques to, on average, 40 students per semester.• Participated as a guest lecturer. • Designed and graded assignments and tests.
