Independently created and implemented internal systems to maximize curriculum instruction for students at both educational institutions. Assessed and monitored reading progress for 50 students; 95% accelerated their rate of learning, 76% narrowed their grade-level reading gap.Fostered and maintained positive relationships with students, volunteer tutors, faculty and staff to create a welcoming learning environment.Developed and facilitated 10-12 weekly tutor trainings for over 75 volunteers on topics such as reading comprehension, phonics and phonemic awareness, student motivation, and vocabulary.
