I have six years' experience of working within Administration in sectors such as Local Government, Plastic Fabrication and Property Restoration. My strengths include excellent communication skills, top-notch customer service and problem solving. My weakness is chocolate. I am an approachable and enthusiastic professional with a positive demeanour. I am looking for a part time role in Administration - I can bring a good work ethic, great organisation and teamwork to your table (or should I say desk).I am a motivated and determined individual - my parents and I took a trip to Wales when I was 12 and we decided to try to climb Mt Snowdon. When we arrived, to my parents horror, I had only brought a pair of half battered plimsolls, but I was adamant we were going to climb Snowdon. To give credit to my plimsolls, we did make it to the top, although I fell over both on the way up and the way down. Once I have my mind set on a goal, I will always see it through - even if I have to literally almost fall off a mountain. This also taught me the importance of organisation and the skill of forward-thinking, since if I had brought some walking shoes, my dignity would have been in tact and I wouldn't have a scar on my leg. I am also a great multitasker and can work well under pressure - my parents, my dog and I went on holiday to the Lake District and went on a guided 10 mile walk. We'd stumbled on a field with lots of cows of which were not a fan of my Alsatian - the lady we had rented the holiday cottage from had told us a story about a man who had sadly been crushed by a herd of cows that morning, so this was not what we wanted to see. Suddenly, the flock started to move towards us and we had to get out of the field sharp (fortunately I'd brought my walking shoes this time) - the field started to get very boggy and I started to lose my shoes, and my mum, in the field. As I was trying to rescue what was left of my shoe and pull my mum from the mud, the cows were getting closer and my dog decided it was a good time to have a lie down. I don't think I have ever felt stress quite like that, but we all managed to get away by the skim of our teeth/paws. I usually wouldn't mind being antagonised by a flock of cows, but I am a vegetarian, so I feel as though it was fairly unjustified.
