I’ve got a keen eye for knowing what works and the drive and gut to get it done. I came up through writing and creative storytelling, always looking for ways to amplify and elevate the brand which helps me effectively disrupt noisy markets. A defining early-career experience was with Penn Foster. When I joined, I had been entirely a B2B marketer. This role let me step into leadership, B2C, and a more tech-oriented world of email automation. For me this was an eye-opening experience that taught me about accelerating pipeline contribution and identifying cross and up-sell opportunities while allowing me to leverage my creative skills. I was hungry to prove myself and reached for the next channel. I found success in driving lead nurture emails resulting in over 500 new enrollments each month (16.37% lift in conversions), in building social media channels resulting in epic follower and engagement increases, and in leveraging blogs and thought leadership to drive and retain traffic on our sites. I am forever grateful for the leaders and mentors I’ve had along the way and so I’ve committed to being the guiding person for my peers and reports. As a servant leader, I strive to provide support and mentorship as well as technical skills and professional development to those around me. Most recently I was an integral part of launching Lambent’s, formerly Armored Things, new brand and product. This involved not only naming the company and designing a new logo but managing and executing a full website overhaul and rebranding collateral from business cards and letter head to e-books and sell sheets. I’m proud of what I’ve accomplished as both a leader and individual contributor and I’m continuously laser-focused on ideating new ways to maximize efforts.
