As a senior TPM I launch new programs, form and empower teams, ruthlessly prioritize, and drive end-to-end execution across engineering, data science, product management, procurement, legal, policy, and external vendors. My current programs leverage machine learning to develop speech and natural language processing technologies including ASR, NLU, dialog, knowledge graphs, NLG, and TTS.As a leader in the TPM organization I define overall systems and strategies to support program development at scale as well as mentor other TPMs to support their technical and career development.

Led large-scale, end-to-end unmanned aerial system (UAS) programs from concept development, critical design, manufacturing, and subsystem tests through to flight test. Drove definition of long term vision and program strategy as well as day-to-day execution cross-functional teams including engineering, procurement, legal, regulatory, export, logistics, and manufacturing. Managed external vendors through contract development, negotiations, contract execution, and performance management.

Led a team of Boeing engineers across multiple organizations to develop primary structural composite materials in collaboration with global composite material suppliers. Managed multi-million dollar project budgets and developed aggressive project schedules using critical chain theory to enable resource utilization decisions. Engaged management across organizations to ensure projects were executed on time, within scope, and within budget. Project team was nominated for Engineering Team of the Year 2014.Selected by executive leadership for the Product Development University Leadership Program.

Finishes and Corrosion Control EngineerProvided technical design consultations to airframe, payloads, and systems design engineers on 747, 767-2C, and 777 programs to ensure correct materials and processes were used to meet program and regulatory requirements and objectives. Taught the Engineering Standards Data Systems course in the New Hire Structures University series. Developed and coordinated execution of corrosion and paint test plans to support program needs.Lead, Electronic Drawing Review Process Lean ProjectLed a diverse team of 15 Boeing engineers to develop and implement a fully-electronic drawing review process for the 747/767/777 airframe design community. Developed a business plan, cost-benefit analysis, and project requirements matrix to optimize drawing reviews across all Boeing Commercial Airplane programs and design functions.Lead, Development of Materials and Processes Signature Authority ProcessLed efforts to define the requirements and process for obtaining signature authority to approve the materials and processes used on engineering drawings. Authored and helped implement a formal process requirements document.

Coordinated with section officers to ensure section business operations are in order. Worked with the section president and officers to develop section strategic and tactical plans. Served as a liaison for the Pacific Northwest Section to the Region J leadership team.

Examined the influence of processing time, at constant bond temperature and pressure, on the failure characteristics of alumina assemblies joined with Cu/Nb/Cu interlayers using liquid-film-assisted bonding. Research included using physical vapor deposition techniques to deposit 3um-thick film of Cu on polished Al2O3 blocks, bonding two Cu-coated Al2O3 blocks with Nb foil sandwiched between the Cu-coated surfaces in a graphite-element hot press, cutting bonded blocks into 16 beams, and using a four-point bend test to collect fracture load data. Analyzed data and wrote M.S. research paper "Effects of Processing Time on Al2O3 joined via Cu/Nb/Cu interlayers Using Liquid-Film-Assisted Bonding".

Led engineering student government representing over 3,500 College of Engineering students and 30 engineering student organizations. Successfully changed the culture of engineering student group collaboration and developed positive working relationships between student organizations and the College of Engineering administration. Re-branded the engineering student government as the "Engineering Student Council" by developing a new constitution, revamping bylaws, and gaining the support of other engineering student groups and College of Engineering professors and administrators.

Responsible for day-to-day processing of 30-year bond trades. Led project to review, assess the risk of, and identify new solutions for user developed applications and non-standard processes.

Represented Northern California, Northern Nevada, and Hawaii students on the Region A Council. Prepared national reports, facilitated meetings, and acted as a liaison between collegiate sections. Provided training and mentoring to collegiate section leaders across Norther California, Northern Nevada, and Hawaii.

Managed and mentored 20 officers: led weekly meetings, responsible for ensuring the success of over 70 officer-led section events. Represented UC Berkeley SWE on campus, region, and societal levels. Reorganized marketing and fundraising to increase membership and corporate initiatives. Maintained a balanced section budget.

Designed and built a Thin Plate Fourier Thermal Conductivity Testing Apparatus. Wrote associated procedure manual for testing thermal conductivity. Qualified new materials to appropriate standards using environmental conditioning and strength testing. Applied Lean Management techniques to design a goals and measurement system for the Crew Rest Cruisers Employee Involvement Team.

Researched InGaN for its photovoltaic potential using atomic force microscopes, photoluminescence, polishing and etching equipment, scanning electron microscopes, x-ray diffraction, and photo electrochemistry. Focused on impact of surface defects and annealing of thin films changed their material properties.

Developed an understanding of C# and HTML thought self-taught learning and research. Helped program we applications to support larger projects within the school of law.
