Overview: Owns P&L and full-scope operational accountability for sale, security, and execution of large- and small-scale events, providing customized solutions and services based on unique client needs while aligning multidisciplinary departments and other internal personnel to ensure seamless day-of execution and drive customer satisfaction and retention. Key Responsibilities:- Oversees all recruitment, onboarding, and development, applying people-focused leadership strategies to mentor and motivate cross-functional team members.- Positioned as key escalation point to resolve both customer and internal team issues, evaluating root causes and providing informed solutions and support to ensure timely and effective conflict resolution. - Leverages extensive industry experience to evaluate legacy YOY and MOM sales data, tracking seasonal trends to effectively forecast new business opportunities, determine departmental budget, and maximize resources towards new revenue generation initiatives. - Provides sales data to business development teams to support ideation and execution of new marketing and outreach initiatives.- Builds and maintains trusted relations with high-profile local organizations and agencies, leading initial discussions regarding event details, requirements, and overall vision to develop multiple proposals and quotes based on unique client needs. - Directs development of floor plans, itineraries, and menus while managing resource and material procurement lead times to ensure efficient event project management and coordination.- Collaborates with all relevant internal departments, stewarding client needs across catering, technology, security, and other mission critical functions to ensure cohesive team effort towards seamless day-of execution.- Independently coordinated and managed numerous high-profile and recurring events with widely known diplomats, celebrities, and other VIPs.
