Transmission was interrupted with the index case.● Steered Denver Public Health response to the pertussis epidemic in 2012 – 2013.● Assessed disparities in asthma-related healthcare utilization among Denver children and adolescents using Colorado Hospital Association data and the Area-Based Socioeconomic Method. Results were incorporated in a health impact assessment for a Denver neighborhood impacted by asthma and other pollution-related health concerns.● Conducted foundational work to design an informatics system using immunization registry data. Assessed data quality, met with stakeholders, and documented requirements.● Interviewed respondents and utilized SAS to analyze data for the National HIV Behavioral Risk Surveillance System.

Prepared a written and oral report on epidemiology of diseases of interest.

Developed, administered, and analyzed a survey about public housing with other interns, including field and telephone interviewing and data cleaning.
