Growing up, I was fascinated by jigsaw puzzles and grid logic puzzles. I realized that it was about fitting different pieces together to create something meaningful and connecting various statements to uncover the bigger picture. This passion has naturally led me to thrive in Integrations, where I enjoy the challenge of making disparate systems work together seamlessly.I began my career in the IBM Graduate Program in Sydney after earning my Bachelor of Information Technology in Computer Science. During this time, I supported Life Critical and Mission Critical platforms while completing courses in Project Management and delving into Change Management and Deployments.In 2004, I relocated to Auckland, New Zealand, where I developed a love for solving data challenges through integrations, migrations, and reporting at JAVLN Software. I have extensive experience in developing integrations in Java for platforms such as Xero, Salesforce, Power BI, and various credit card gateways, utilizing technologies like JSON, SOAP, XML, and JDBC. Along the way, I have gained valuable knowledge in the insurance and electricity industries.Currently, I serve as a Senior Delivery Lead, where I employ Agile methodologies to manage programs encompassing multiple work streams, including the integration squad. In this role, I also take on Product Owner responsibilities, overseeing roadmap development, prioritization, and release planning.Problem-solving for my customers comes naturally to me. I prioritize understanding their requirements, designing tailored solutions, and managing the stages of product delivery. Recently, I’ve been focusing on strategic thinking and extending product planning and roadmaps further into the future.As a meticulous planner and list-maker, I pride myself on being highly organized—my Christmas shopping is always done by October!Outside of work, I am deeply passionate about my kids, particularly their love for water polo. I am heavily involved in our local water polo club, serving as Club President, which has been an incredibly fulfilling experience. I take pride in fostering a love for the sport, supporting all club members, and leading teams across the country for competitions.
