Position duties included:· Create a template for promotion of the region on three social media platforms.· Clearly and effectively communicate project progress with community partners at the Upper Minnesota Valley Regional Development Commission to create regional promotional media, and manage social media accounts for the RDC.· Gather video footage, photographs, and interviews to later use in social media publicity of the region.· Promote the region through building and engaging with online audiences across three social media platforms.· Create documentation and institutional memory for successors of this pilot project.

Position duties included: · Schedule and organize campus-wide events on campus throughout the year.· Effectively communicate and collaborate with on- and off-campus organizations to plan and execute sustainability-centered events for the campus and community.· Increase the student body’s overall engagement with the University's sustainability mission by catalyzing and facilitating interactive events surrounding sustainability· Organize & publicize a monthlong celebration of sustainability by collaborating with varied community organizations.· Employ creative problem-solving to address issues in event planning and execution.
