Downsizing for Seniors: This is a challenging task for many , especially when so many of us have lived in the same home for 20, 30 and even 50 years. We also often have treasured items and collections, both ours and others. Downsizing is of course physical, but also mental and emotional. These presentations, classes and consultations help guide seniors and their adult children through this process with support. I present trends, options, planning objectives, guidelines and support for downsizing with seniors. I am currently a retired Clinical Psychologist with 30 + years experience who has downsized from my own large 80 year old home of 35 years in 2013. This experience has made me passionate to help others with this significant transition.
