Focusing on internal communications for HR, Health and Safety and Europe, Africa, India and the Middle East.

I promote and deliver good governance across the Association and assist with designing, developing and delivering effective communications to members and stakeholders and promoting the work of the Association.

Helping to deliver the Association's PR strategy; responsible for the day-to-day coordination and delivery of a range of public affairs, communications and research projects and activities to support the Association's aims to improve the reputation of BPA and to promote knowledge sharing and best practice across the parking sector.

I worked within the Development Office, I had sole responsibility for all day to day administration and research within the development office.I built relationships with partner organisations encouraging them to hold fundraising events, writing applications to trusts and foundations for funding, and stewarding our regular individual donors.I was also tasked to look at the current promotional materials and brand to help improve and implement new materials to create and further develop a recognised brand through a local presence and local knowledge in the areas we work; Cambridgeshire, Swindon, Hastings, and increasingly nationwide. These included newsletters, brochures, the website, social media, a fundraising pack and numerous flyers and leaflets for the different audiences; schools, teachers, students, parents and donors. During my internship I created a marketing video on the charities work.I worked with the Director of External Relations and Communications, to develop and implement an alumni strategy to increase a sustainable growth of income and awareness of Villiers Park Educational Trust, both locally and nationally. This was achieved through developing and maintaining relationships with all of our alumni, implementing our career mentor programme for the undergraduate and graduate alumni, developing partnerships with specific local universities and setting up stalls to encourage fundraising at Fresher’s Fairs and other events in University’s calendars.
