As Driver Performance Coordinator/Relief Dispatch I was responsible for monitoring driver performance and coordinate Driver Training Activities. This position also required me to be responsible for relief dispatching when needed.Administration:-Loader/Forklift Training:monitor then administer required training-Relief Dispatch Auditor: Time sheets,data entry,reconciliation of load slips with customers-Coordinate yearly CPL training as required-Attend monthly Safety Meetings-Liaison between Dept. Supervisor responsible for "Special Projects" put forward by the Safety Committee to ensure recommendations are implemented-Distribute and Hazard Alert/Safety notices-Monitor and review Incident Reports prior to Safety Dept.receiving report, ie; Incident investigation, all information needed is on form, causes identified, recommendations to prevent recurrence-Review and update Safety Bulletin boards. Driver Training Program:-Implement driver training program for both trainers and trainees-Perform road test with prospective New Hire-DATS introduction - monitor progress-New Hire orientation of building and grounds -Introduce New Hire to building staff-Track and collect required training documents-Develop individual training plan with implementation of New Hire into Driver Training Program-Monitor progress of each Driver Trainee by collecting and reviewing Driver Trainer daily progress reports. Report findings to Dispatch Lead. -Monitor New Hire 45 Probation threshold, review performance with Dept. Supervisor-Hold regular information meetings with Driver Trainers to monitor quality control and documentation-Continuous improvement of programDriver Performance Program:-Implement driver performance program -Review and investigate any HOS violations-Speed Gauge Reports: monitor daily - record, then administer notification to driver-Propose appropriate discipline to supervisor-Monitor Drivers files to ensure compliance
