Kathryn Kaiser is an artist, designer and mother who lives outside the village of Coldwater, Ontario. Her art is executed through her studio, Verity Blue Studio. Her artist website and portfolio is https://kathrynkaiser.caKathryn attended Ryerson University in the 1980's, where she received a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Interior Design. She has worked with a number of prestigious design firms in Toronto. Kathryn works mainly in residential and corporate design (but also has experience in retail design). Her expertise is in space planning and furniture and cabinet design. She is a skilled problem solver, and has an intuitive and personal approach to each client as an individual. Kathryn attended University of Lethbridge where she majored in Fine Arts. She was awarded scholarships to SAIT (Southern Alberta Institute of Technology) and The Banff School of Fine Arts. Kathryn has since taken classes and workshops and otherwise expands her talents and experience wherever she can.The bulk of her work thus far has been life drawing, landscape and portraiture. She works mainly in charcoal, graphite, oil and acrylic…media that allows her to express her vision relatively intuitively and immediately.Kathryn does both black and white and coloured architectural renderings for various design and landscaping companies, and is happy to do other commissioned work. She has been active in the Orillia Streets Alive (street art) project for the past few years and has enjoyed it immensely. Public and street art holds a growing interest for her.Teaching is another one of Kathryn’s accomplishments.
