Part of a project to gather data to aid understanding of the correlation between the numbers of oak processionary moths captured in pheromone traps and the presence of caterpillar nests, and to find the outer limits of the breeding population across London and the Home Counties. Involved the systematic close inspection of oak trees for signs of nests.
