During my professional life I taught, counseled, developed programs for the public and presented on Life Management Skills to individuals and groups. I developed and taught in a program for gifted children (IQs of 130+); helped to develop a full service school (Medicaid services, monthly onsite Physician, fulltime Nurse and Social Worker); participated in in-home visits to clients along with nurses, aides, therapists and reported to physicians on patients' behalf. My Social Work practice covered people affected by HIV/AIDS, families, at-risk children, senior adults, exceptional education, and teen mothers. Appeared on CBS program Access with gifted class and John Ciardi to cover student's Haiku poetry. Awarded Social Worker of the Year by Tampa Bay, FL. National Association of Social Workers.
