I am currently a junior majoring in Accounting at Pace University Lubin School of Business through the combined BBA/MBA degree program and on track to get my CPA.I currently work as the assistant financial manager at a student-run business on our campus called Pace Delivers. Through this position, I work with the CFO and assist them in the transaction reports and inputting our sales into Quickbooks. I am also in the process of training to be the CFO so I assist with journal entries on sales and expenses in a given week as well. On top of my assistant manager position, I also contribute as a driver to this business, where I process customers' orders in the office, drive out to pick their orders up from the respective restaurants, and then communicate with the customers when their orders have arrived at their residence halls. From this job, I develop communication skills with the customers and additionally develop my accounting skills when working on financial reports. My relevant coursework involves Advanced Spreadsheet Skills, Financial Accounting, Federal Income Taxation, and Managerial Accounting.
