Kathryn (Kat) McKelvey is an analyst, advocate and people manager with experience focused on healthcare, housing justice and criminal justice reform. She received her BA at University of Portland and her MPH at OHSU-PSU School of Public Health with a focus in health care cost disparities among marginalized communities. Kat started her career in data validation, evaluation, and outcomes in workforce development programs for homeless youth. Kat moved on to manage the data and evaluations division at Atlanta’s largest non-profit providing housing for people living with HIV/AIDS. Since returning to Portland, she has worked as Senior Data and Research Manager for Campaign Zero, a national nonprofit focused on data based initiatives to end pain and suffering that result from systemic oppression. Kat now works as the Director of Data Governance and Quality at the Multnomah County Health Department.
