Most of my experience in the business world was in my time in high school, luckily I was given a very advanced experience due to attending a public charter high school. Not only did I lead the schools Fundraising Club but I led Recruitment Club, Community Meetings, was student leader in two of the performance ensembles along with being Office Intern, giving me a front and back of house view of the school community. I worked closely with the Director, Board Chair, Financial Advisor, Grant Writer, Social Media Coordinator, and Community Outreach Facilitator. Through the work I did with these people I truly feel as though I learned about all aspects of a business, I would love to have the opportunity to see these aspects of business at work in other settings. Unfortunately in some ways I feel that my college and high school experience have been traded for one another. I was always very involved if not overly involved my entire childhood, I have used college as my chance to take a step back and just focus on my education. I am taking this time to focus on my classes, especially that I am in an accelerated program and will be graduating in three instead of four years.
