I freelanced on various research projects involving the Welsh language as well as translation work for small companies and individual clients.

I attended a part-time course run by TILT at Bangor University to gain a qualification in translation. I passed the course in summer 2015, receiving a PGCert in Translation Studies and Technologies (Merit).

I worked as a co-ordinator for a short-term research project led by Dr Rhian Hodges and Dr Cynog Prys. The project was commissioned by the Welsh Government and explored the use of Welsh in five different communities in Wales.

I worked as a post-doctoral researcher on a research project called WISERD Education. This was a project funded by HEFCW, which aimed to explore what is it to be a learner in primary and secondary education in Wales. My roles included participant recruitment, data collection, data analysis, research instrument development, and co-writing publications.

I collected data from bilingual Welsh-English speaking children as part of Dr Carolyn Letts' project on the Reynell Developmental Language Scale.

I taught foundational statistics lectures through the medium of Welsh to second year undergraduates studying psychology at Bangor University.

I worked as part of a team of researchers on a short-term project funded by Welsh Government. The project assessed the availability of funding for post-19 education for young people in Wales with learning difficulties. The research was commissioned by the Welsh Government and conducted by Ruth Townsley Research.
