Essential experience included time on farm and participation in butchery skills to enhance understanding and appreciation for the supply chain 'Farm to Fork'.

Quality controller (1 month) - Working within a fast paced pack house environment over the Christmas period. Main roles included; half-hourly product line checks to ensure both product and packaging quality standards were being met. Skills were gained from shelf life and titration testing, alongside expanding product variety knowledge.Logistical and Procurement (4 months) - Supporting the Grape and Citrus teams. Tasks included; processing internal transfers between packhouses, using the computer system Rubicon, issuing stock transfers, producing market tickets, RTS’s and weekly DEFRA reports. Much time was spent liaising with hauliers to book and chase deliveries through the supply chain, to ensure quantity of fruit met customer requests.M&S Head Office (3 months) - M&S Fruit Franchise Project
