Digital Marketing Strategist
CurrentAs a digital strategist, I work in partnership with clients and their marketing agencies as a client side consultant, often reporting directly to the company CEO and board. This approach allows me to work on the business vision with my clients, bringing my digital knowledge to the table. Although the majority of my work is strategy based I also get stuck in running PPC campaigns, writing content plans, carrying out conversion optimisation tasks and producing monthly reports. Typical Tasks• Strategy creation, defining key performance indicators, channel selection mapped to the customer lifecycle, persona development, analytical reporting and attribution modelling.• Creation of a monthly reporting template which is completed by internal teams and agencies, synchronising all results into one report for the marketing manager and board• Team mentoring and training on digital marketing tasks to upskill internal team members, Google suits training, Facebook advertising, marketing metrics and reporting.• Liaising with digital marketing agencies on behalf of the client, briefing in projects, project management, monitoring results.• Implementation of projects, creation of social media strategies and content plans, set up and management of paid advertising campaigns across search, display, remarketing and social. Conversion rate optimisation and user experience analysis; including setting up experiments, carrying out user research and analysing results.Some of my clients:UK and Ireland wide retailer with twelve showrooms nationwide.
