The work within HR varies but includes recruiting people, training and developing employees and the creation of company policies and procedures. There are even roles which focus on employment law and protecting the rights of both the employer and the employees at work. HR will also help deal with legal issues surrounding contractual issues, help to shape the culture of staff within the business, and focus on what keeps colleagues productive and engaged.HR gives me the opportunity to work and interact with people daily and help support people and management. I have an interest in business and enjoy understanding how people work and what motivates them to perform well. Show less
