I am ambitious, hard working, passionate with a caring personality. Working as a Senior Radiation Therapist I have the ability to acquire new skills to deliver the best possible outcome with a firm focus on achieving high quality patient care. I have experience working with Elekta, Varian and the latest Varian Truebeam machines. This has given me the opportunity to work with all the latest and developing radiotherapy techniques and imaging. Including 2D, 3D & 4D CBCT, SBRT, Gated IMRT, Rapid Arc, Accuray Tomotherapy and TSEBT. My excellent communication skills enhance and add value to my organisation. I strive for new challenges whilst ensuring my current work provides a happy working environment ensuring patients are provided with first class treatment. As well as being a Senior Radiation Therapist, my experience as an advanced thoracic radiotherapy practitioner is a multi-faceted role allowing the provision of holistic information and support to patients and carers throughout treatment and beyond. Chemo-radiation regimens are complex. Continuity and having a single point of contact are not only valued by patients but also the wider multidisciplinary team, to ensure the patient journey is seamless and efficient. I provided radiotherapist-led review clinics for this category of patients enabling me to assess patients and ensure their toxicities are optimally managed.
