Supporting people with developmental disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and Physical Disabilities in building a multi-faceted skillset to promote independence and self-confidence. Aiding client’s in discovering their potential through individualized social, emotion, spiritual, and physical rehabilitation interventions. Empowering individuals with disabilities using their recreation activities in both 1:1 and 1:10 group settings. Creating a safe environment for learning and giving clients the tools for making every day another best. Helping integrate clients in the Grand Rapids community by teaching important social and work-related skills.

Developed individualized goals and objectives for 12 clients. Built rapport by communicating goals with participant’s and guardians. Adapted interventions to meet the individual needs of each client. Facilitated, planned, and organized evening activities twice a month. Customized strategies based on individuals' goals and strengths and offered each positive reinforcement to continue progress towards goals. Helped to integrate clients in local community by teaching important social and work-related skills.
