My passion for yoga sprung from a lifelong desire for movement and creativity. Over the last several years, yoga has helped me to develop a deep sense of awareness, an unshakable inner happiness, and an unexpected amount of strength and flexibility. I came to yoga while being faced with much adversity in my life and while challenging myself to much needed soul searching. I love teaching yoga and helping my students tear down walls on their spiritual path, it's the best feeling in the world. I am also a huge advocate for UNICEF and Save The Children and would love to volunteer my time with them some day or teach yoga to returning volunteers. I spend much of my free time volunteering my time teaching community yoga classes. I am Yoga Alliance Certified and completed my yoga training with Annie Q of The Yoga Shop.

  Achieving milestones in my personal practice gives me a great sense of self esteem and confidence, sharing that same feeling with my students and making them feel good about themselves is the most rewarding feeling a teacher can have. If I can give back confidence and self love to one student then I'll be satisfied.
