• Coordinate and oversee approximately 87 students participating in the SPIA Experiential Learning Internship Program and the Emerging Leadership Program. • Organize and oversee pre-career opportunities and events for SPIA students, e.g. “Networking Nights” and “Meet and Greets with the State Department.”• Collaborate with the Career Center on hosting events and creating professional resources to share with students. • Allocate and administer a funding budget for 75 undergraduate and 12 graduate which includes wages, travel and administration fees.• Develop and maintain long-term relationships with internship sponsors for the SPIA Experiential Learning Internship Program and the Emerging Leadership Program. • Develop and coordinate a communications strategy and the implementation of private scholarship funds for internships with SPIA’s Office of External Affairs.• Advise SPIA students on internships, careers and professional development resources. • Advise 130 students on average about degree requirements and provided knowledge about UGA’s academic resources and student services.
