To co-development quality assurance through auditing occupational therapy notes and assessments, providing effective supervision and making recommendations on systems and processes that support continuous improvements in practice.• Support is provided to the community OTs and Team Managers to identify and respond to performance issues, to set and meet appropriate targets to deliver occupational therapy professional standards. • Maintaining up to date knowledge on legislative and policy changes and work with, OTs, practice managers and senior management to adapt practice accordingly. • Providing a strong professional lead role and direct professional supervision, coaching and mentoring. • Engaging in some direct clinical practice; including case reviews, direct casework, and co working. • Ensuring that the occupational therapists and social care assessors understand and comply with systems, protocols, and professional standards.• Co-managing the formal allocation of referrals, assessments, and re-assessments, ensuring that resources and skills of the workers are aligned for quality clinical outcomes for the service users.• Implementing and setting up of the Blue Badge clinics which included the arrangement of training the assessors and implementing a new more streamline affective assessment form. • Responsible for developing the occupational therapists by progressing them from adult cases to learning disability cases through to the complex children’s cases. •
