My role in Fossil as a sales associate has given me invaluable skills. Due to the nature of the Job I have developed excellent team work ability, working in a small sales team towards individual KPI's and group targets has not only advanced my ability to support others to reach a goal but has furthered my numerical skills. Working with the public has given me confidence when communicating with others and has refined my interpersonal skills. Working during peak and busy seasons such as Christmas has made me a proactive person and cash handling has given me a sense of responsibility.

(Temporary Contract) My role in G-star gave me a greater sense of goal orientation. This role was focused on group targets and as a result of this I embraced my role as a team player. My role allowed me to explore a different side of my analytical skills as my training in visual merchandising meant problem solving and creativity. This training allowed me to gain a deeper understanding of the brand and my product knowledge, it meant that I had to take responsibility and use initiative and attention to detail. This experience pushed me out of my comfort zone but showed that I was adaptable to new situations and was receptive to training.
