I assisted with logistics and supported students during Carleton College’s Political Economy and Ecology of Southeast Asia off campus studies program.

Senegal

I worked with members of a rural community to implement agriculture techniques to improve food security and household income. I organized and led a series of agricultural trainings in the local language for a women’s gardening group and worked with over thirty individual farmers. I obtained and managed a grant to renovate the community health building. I also supported projects outside my community, including managing logistics for a week-long girls’ empowerment camp attended by nearly one hundred people.

I supported the many programs within GPI's Sustainable Communities area by conducting research, coordinating meetings and events, and writing blogs, grant proposals, and reports.
