Hi! My name's Kat.I'm currently a senior at High Point University and have enjoyed exploring my options in the event management realm. I have studied at festivals conventions such as the International Festivals and Events Association Conference in 2019 and 2022 and the North Carolina Association of Festivals & Events panels and conferences hosted in 2018, 2020, and 2022. I had the opportunity to organize campus events through my university's Campus Activities Team for which I served on the executive board during the years 2019 and 2020, as well as social events for Phi Mu Gamma Zeta in the spring of 2020. In 2021 I had the opportunity to work in food and beverage as a server in a pub and bar in downtown Portland, Maine. In 2020 I was able to be an Online Program Director for Camp Bishopswood, eventually serving as the in-person Program Director during the summer of 2022 where I organized weekly schedules for 100+ campers, and organized weekly group activities. Upon graduation, I hope to find a job that provides me the opportunity to work on impactful events with a group of people who collaborate to support said mission!
