Coordinate all aspects of external and internal data and safety monitoring committees, including scheduling meetings, data abstraction of safety and toxicity information, writing minutes and memorandums, keeping structured records of all data and safety monitoring information. Train new committee members on data and safety monitoring expectations and requirements. Compile and prepare accrual monitoring reports for protocol review and monitoring committee. Build, design, and maintain innovative REDCap database projects for Investigator initiated trials and CTO operational databases. Compile clinical metrics with highest accuracy and prepare slides for external advisory board, clinical trials summit, clinical trials office, and Houston Methodist Neal Cancer Center. Coordinate disease oriented groups and protocol review and monitoring committee meetings. Correspond with sponsors and key stakeholders to ensure timely study intake and feasibility for industry sponsored trials. Utilize advanced skills to interpret and revise the data and safety monitoring plan, create DSMC risk level review, and trial prioritization feasibility score.
