With a master's degree in public health and another in anthropology, I have a passion for improving the lives of people with rare diseases and bridging the gaps between patients, caregivers, providers, and researchers. As the Director of Advocacy and HCP Relations at Patient Worthy, I leverage my skill to create and maintain relationships across the rare disease and genetic information space as these partnerships that are critical to the success of advocacy initiatives, and education.In my current role, I foster partnerships with advocacy groups and academia and connect patients to resources. I also manage relationships with pharma, bio-tech, market research companies, and CROs, providing insight regarding patient communities, patient and caregiver views, and marketing. Additionally, I secure media partnerships with international organizations, facilitate physician, C-suite, and KOL guests for podcasts and speaking events, and recruit patients and caregivers for research, ad boards, and focus groups. I enjoy working with a diverse and collaborative team that shares my vision of empowering and informing the rare disease community. I believe that my experience and perspective contributes to the organization's mission and culture.
