With 25 years in education and over eight years of online teaching experience including an online certification course for K12 teachers, I can help your organization make the shift online. I am a PT Faculty for Instructional Technology and an eLearning Designer for universities. Design-thinking and backward design approach to instruction, along with problem-solving skills, project management experience allows me to work collaboratively on teams to achieve timely production goals. I am also able to employ numerous research-based strategies for differentiation and accessibility.Reducing barriers to online learning is critical. Focus on DEI is embedded in the learning. Leveraging the technologies that allow for high-level queries, for just-in-time answers facilitates independent learning. It is critical that online learning develop to meet the changing demands of the workforce. Students encounter opportunities for adopting new skills &they must be prepared to operate with agency & purpose, learning to learn efficiently so they can obtain competencies that keep them employed & a competitive workforce. Universities who model effective blended eLearning will produce graduates equipped as self-directed learners.
