After a career break pursuing disability advocacy in Australia, I have returned to practice.I support the commercial and company team in matters ranging from terms of business, regulatory law, intellectual property, charity, data protection, contracts, branding and other company matters.In litigation, I support the team in matters of property, commercial and company litigation and debt recovery.

Commercial – I completed an extended seat in the team returning to cover the departure of a qualified solicitor dealing with intellectual property, regulatory, charity, terms and conditions, consumer terms and trading agreements.Commercial Property – during my time with the team I undertook post completion work and assisted on lease negotiations in relation to solar installations. As part of the implementation process of the firms IT document management system I have been responsible for the testing and development of the system to ensure legal compliance, data protection and fee-earner work flow. As a paralegal in the commercial team I was responsible for assisting fee-earners with research as required and managed and ran my own files in respect of trade mark applications and terms and conditions. I was also selected to take part in the UK Patent counting to determine the number of local divisions of the Unified Patent Court.

Working for a niche insolvency practice with a small staff I was responsible for the day-to-day operation of the practice as well as research, attending court in contended bankruptcy proceedings and drafting witness evidence.
