In addition to my music duties, I evaluated and assessed students for gifted services, and guided student learning on advanced topics. I also created 4 lesson plans each month for students K-2. Finally, I was trained in the Barton Reading and Spelling System and used it to tutor students 1-on-1 in reading and spelling. While this system is primarily for those dealing with dyslexia, we also used it to assist any students who were struggling with reading and spelling.
