I'm currently a Director of Development for Syracuse University where I focus on establishing and managing relationships with potential major gift prospects in the New York City Tri-state area on behalf of the entire University. I have the privilege of working with donors to change the trajectory of students’ lives and to advance faculty research and innovation.I also sit on the board of an amazing nonprofit organization called America On Tech. AOT is on a mission to educate and prepare the next generation of technology leaders to decrease the economic and racial wealth gap in underestimated communities.Prior to switching careers into fundraising, I spent a number of years in the talent development space in the education sector. I worked for the Columbia Business School Career Management Center where I focused on building relationships with business partners across the globe ranging from startups to Fortune 500 companies. I also led the New York City Outcomes Team at General Assembly (GA), a global education company concentrating on education-to-employment for skills related to data, design, business, and technology.I hold a BS in Broadcast Journalism from the Syracuse University S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications with minors in Marketing, Chinese Studies, and Religion and an MS in Nonprofit Management from Columbia University.
