Kathryn is a public affairs executive with more than 25 years’ experience advancing the goals of national and global organizations focusing on digital health solutions, virtual care, and enterprise software. Her career spans a broad cross section of corporate and non-profit sectors including B2B technology, government, healthcare policy as well as the philanthropic sector. From 2015-2023 Kathryn served in a range of leadership roles with TELUS Health, most recently heading up the company’s Government Relations activities across multiple lines of business and engaging with Federal and Provincial governments to help transform access to healthcare across Canada. Prior to that, from 2006-2015 Kathryn worked as an independent consultant focusing on the health and philanthropic sector. And for the preceding decade, she led strategic communications for one of Canada’s global high tech success stories, Cognos, subsequently acquired by IBM. Kathryn has enriched her corporate experience studying the human side of organizational change and is committed to developing future leaders, volunteering as a mentor in programs with several Canadian universities for emerging health system leaders.Kathryn is a past member of the TECHNATION Health Board and Advocacy Committee as well as the TELUS Ottawa Community Board, which contributes $400,000 annually to local charities serving youth and focused on health and technology.
