As a Legislative Aide, I managed and resolved constituent issues, attended legislative meetings and committee hearings, managed legislative and general research process for the Representative. I drafted, filed, and tracked legislation, budget items, and legislative amendments. I wrote press releases, secured media coverage for Representative and met with constituents, lobbyists and committee members.

In this position I gathered, wrote and delivered news on a daily basis. I covered a variety of stories ranging from crime, court cases, environmental issues, human interest stories, governmental issues as well as many more topics. I anchored the news, reported live on the scene and in the studio. While working in TV, I enjoyed meeting people from all walks of life. I've met many politicians, celebrities, everyday heroes and just some really nice and sometime mean people. It was an honor, privilege to be able to report on our community’s triumphs and tragedies..

I began my career at Channel 22 as a Reporter covering an array of topics on a daily basis. Being on TV was exciting and nerve-racking at the same time. I worked under deadline on a daily basis covering crime, court cases, environmental issues, human interest stories, governmental issues as well as many more topics. Three years into my job as a Reporter I was promoted to Noon and then Morning anchor. Making a splash, eight month later I received a call from NBC-30 where I moved on to become the Weekend Evening News Anchor.
