As an Instructional assistant at Arizona State University I taught the laboratory component of Microbiology. Responsibilities included: assessing individual and class needs in order to best incorporate various learning styles, preparing and delivering course content, grading student assignments, hosting weekly office hours, and maintaining a safe lab environment.

As a swim instructor for Kidtastics I instructed children ages 6 mo– 18 years proper swim and water safety techniques in one-on-one and group settings; educated parents and family on water safety and created individualized lesson plans depending on age, skill level, and desired goals; and facilitated a fun, energetic environment for children to feel comfortable and confident in the water.

As the Health Technician for Solano Elementary School, I was the sole healthcare provider on campus. I collaborated with other healthcare professionals in the community, as well as other professionals on the school campus in order to provide well-rounded care for students. Responsibilities included: providing patient care and health services, along with community health referrals for children ages 3-13 years old; educating students and families on health maintenance, illness, injury, as well as AZ state health requirements; and participating in IEP and Crisis teams, as well as serving on the Emergency Response Team.
