Design, build and race in an international BAJA Competition every year. Oversee the progress of the car and assist new members in getting more involved. Chef Engineer of Chassis System: train others in the machine shop and on the welders, TIG Weld the frame of the car, utilize Autodesk Inventor to analyze the assembly of the car. Design, model and manufacture important parts of the car: such as: uprights, splash guard, and outer-body panels made out of carbon fiber. Along with other small parts such as: spacers, tabs, and a steering cover.

Trained to use all machines in the machine shop: mills, lathes, drill presses, bandsaws, 3-D printers, MIG/TIG/Stick welding, and CNC mills. Able to train others in any of the previous mentioned machines. Responsible for looking over and assisting students in their senior design projects, junior design projects, and personal projects. Create the schedule for machine shop employees.

Work under Dr. Michelle Blum to design, prototype and test a projectile launcher to toss a toy basketball into a hoop by utilizing my knowledge in physics and dynamics. Then create a lab packet with easy to follow instructions on how to create and predict the launcher.

Florence Area, Italy

Worked closely with a patient afflicted with muscular atrophy to produce an exoskeleton hand to assist him in opening and closing his hands on command. I worked with a team consisting of one other American and two local Italians. My part of the project was to design a device which can easily attach and remove the exoskeleton to the patient. Utilizing SolidWorks, my partner, Owen Clyne, and I were able to design and assemble our prototype
