Acted as Head of HR for the Banana Republic field organization at a time of significant growth and radical changes to the operating model. Introduced a number of best practices to help grow the organization in a scalable, meaningful and elevating manner. Some highlights were introducing succession management at previously overlooked levels, yet levels of roles that were crucial to long-term business growth and sustainability, introducing practices and capabilities to rapidly hire while retaining a strong focus on quality of match and connection to values, and introducing and managing practices to develop and deploy internal coaching capabilities across all levels.

Became Deputy Head of HR, and then ultimately Head of HR for my last two years. While Harrods is a well-known name, at the time, the group comprised many subsidiaries across multiple industries, including other retail groups, hospitality, financial and industrial divisions. As Group Head of HR, I was responsible for leading people and culture strategies and operations across all subsidiaries.
