A recent graduate of the University of San Francisco, with a BA in English, I am currently a national sales associate for Arcadia Publishing & The History Press. Until late 2014, I served as senior editor and writer for a Charleston-based music magazine, Found: Music Uncovered. I also freelance; my most recent project was with the Charleston Transportation Sales Tax initiative, where I conducted research projects, wrote articles, and edited a teacher's handbook for the Traveling Trunk program. I love to write about the arts, pop culture, feminism, and social justice, as well as my own creative fiction. I am also a skilled editor, particularly for creative works, articles, and blogs.I’m a very self-motivated worker; I’m always finding new projects to work on, and I’m usually the first to ask what else needs to be done. My attention to detail is one of my greatest assets, as I often catch errors that dozens of people could have missed or didn’t bother to correct. I’m an excellent writer and editor, which has been my passion since I was young. I’m also quite amiable and cordial and have great interpersonal relationships with coworkers and customers alike. I have over five years of office and administrative experience, including data entry, payment processing, research, graphic design, and social media, and I fear no computer. I’m very comfortable with MS Office Suite, as well as both Chicago and APA style manuals.
