My role is to a serve as a key member of our Professional Services team. My primary responsibilities are to work closely with our Services partners to help drive business and ensure we retain a tight working relationship.

My role is to help drive VMware business within Softcat and ensure that Softcat Account Managers and specialists have all the tools they need to maximise their VMware opportunities. I work closely with the VMware team to assist in developing a business plan to help drive sales within Softcat and achieve our business targets.

My role is a combination of Account Management and Sales Support with a specific focus on building strong customer relationships and business development as well as providing quotes and sourcing specific goods, ensuring a smooth running sales process.

• First point of call for visitors and incoming calls
• Post room duties – franking and sorting through all post
• Managing outstanding accounts and monitoring invoices/payments
• Preparing papers and binding presentations for Directors and clients
• Supporting and organising marketing campaigns
• Assisting with photo shoots for marketing campaigns

• Organise and manage all corporate meetings and conferences
• Coordinating venue management, staff, caterers, contractors and equipment hire
• Handling client queries and troubleshooting on the day of the event to ensure that all runs smoothly
• Identify opportunities; put forward ideas and potential solutions with a focus on results
• Maintain high standards of work with attention to detail under pressured deadlines
