At the spectacular location of Tintagel Castle, I performed all front-of-house duties, including assisting customers with their purchases, advising and answering questions. I dealt with high volumes of customers on a busy site, preparing barista-style coffees and serving food. Upselling was encouraged, as was the healthy competition to meet and exceed our financial targets. Clearing and cleaning both service and preparation areas was also carried out on a daily basis.

During my time at Homeleigh, I served customers, advising and answering plant-related questions. Watering, weeding, deadheading, planting on, facing up and condensing displays were all practiced and stock rotation was implemented. I assisted with deliveries and stocktake and liased with multiple departments to ensure customers recieved excellent customer service, whether in the plant section or elsewhere in the store.
