In this position I assisted the corporation's in-house counsels with litigation, contract drafting, IP law related issues, and other legal matters. I had the opportunity to research and compose various legal memos, including one for use in an ongoing litigation matter over a purported violation of the Florida Telephone Solicitation Act. I also was included in the review and editing process of vendor and third-party contracts and agreements such as the corporation's travel and expense policy and trademark consent agreements. As a long term project I was tasked with inventorying and organizing the corporation’s United States and international trademark and patent certificates for their continually changing IP portfolio. Throughout my summer I initiated the take-down procedure for many websites and individual products that were infringing on the corporation’s trademarks as a part of the corporation's ongoing brand enforcement efforts.

As a blog columnist I wrote multiple articles a month on topics concerning women's rights and health issues of both domestic and international scope to be posted on the Project Stree blog. Project Stree is a non-profit that is working to end menstrual discrimination in India.

This position expanded my responsibilities beyond what I had been tasked with in past in similar roles. As an assistant trainer I managed barn staff, taught students of all levels, and facilitated business dealings with outside vendors associated with the industry such as veterinarians and farriers beyond my riding and training responsibilities. This gave me the opportunity to be more involved in the business management side of the operation as well as become more directly involved with client relations.

As an immigration support intern I completed intake procedures for new clients of the IRC, which entailed filling out several forms with the client with information that will eventually be transferred to the USCIS documents related to their case or application. I scheduled consultation appointments for clients with IRC staff members as well as sign them up for IRC naturalization workshops. I assisted clients at the aforementioned IRC naturalization workshops with completing their N-400 form (citizenship application). I documented and transfered client data and information onto the many platforms and systems used by the IRC.

As the assistant trainer I work alongside the head trainer training and teaching young horses to prepare them for the high-level competition world. I oversee the scheduling and execution of daily activities regarding the facility and the animals involved. I coordinate on a daily basis with outside individuals and businesses relevant to the operation of the business.

Dedicated over 20 hrs a week to workouts, practice, care of the animals, and traveling across the country to compete against other Division I teams while carrying a full academic course load. Gained valuable skills in dealing with pressure and adversity. Extensive collaborative team experiences.

Participated in a University of Georgia sanctioned study abroad program where we studies Comparative Politics and International Affairs. Attended lectures and partook in an international politics simulation at the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano.

Helped to research the mental health conditions and sub-conditions, as well as the treatment modalities associated with them, within the DSM-5. This research was then imputed into an algorithm that would suggest different treatment plans to the user of the platform based upon illness and the severity of said illness.
