I am a finance executive with a love of strategy and a penchant for operations. Over the years, I have developed my breadth of talents through working in a broad range of industries, across company stages, and in non-finance roles. My industries have included cleantech, climate change, ed tech, mobile communications, and application of AI. I’ve supported both hardware and software companies, including consumer applications, enterprise software, and SaaS. ➤ Experienced in both private and public settings, I have helped build startups from the pre-launch stage through millions in revenue traction and positive cash burn, often partnering with sales to secure impact customers from the Fortune 500. I specialize in new markets and have been a pioneer in green power, location based services for mobile devices, the connected home, and carbon markets. ➤ My accomplishments include accelerating growth through rooting out inefficiencies and designing processes that scale. At times, I have been asked to lead operations and integrate cross-functional teams. Not a back-office personality, I thrive when I am “in the boat” and building the business with my colleagues.➤ My roles in public companies have trained me in best-in-class FP&A practices and provided broad exposure to global accounting operations and reporting. Having worked in later stage companies, I know how to chart the path for early stage ventures.➤ I trained on Wall Street and learned the art of raising capital and structuring debt. I either led or partnered with the CEO to raise over $200M from institutions, angels, VCs, and strategic investors. My M&A expertise covers both the buy and sell side and includes multiple exits. I have had the good fortune to work with some of the premier investors in Silicon Valley, including Kleiner Perkins, Benchmark, and Accel.
