Working on producing a turnaround budget for 23/24 and a medium-term financial plan.Provide mentoring and coaching support to the Head of Finance and assurance to the trustees.Revamped the management accounts and reporting packs to the Finance, Audit & Operations committee, and the main Board of trustees.

Key Achievements;- Delivered the organisations first medium term financial plan- Enabled the distribution of £10m of Emergency Funding during lockdown- Developed a resourcing plan to accompany the budget- Implemented policies, procedures, templates and how to guides across all ears of the business. Generating toolkits enabling managers to 'self-serve'.

Key Achievements;- Turned the charity around from a £4.2m forecasted deficit to deliver a small surplus at year-end in the first year (Finance Director, Action for Children).- Drove down the cost of support services by 25% (c. £5m), reducing the number of accounts payable invoices by over 50% (c. 25k invoices) and the aged debt by 50% (c. £1m), increased.

Key Achievements;- Carried out a full priority-based budget review of all funded areas. Resulting in achieving cost savings and the ability to re-invest in high priority activities (Head of Strategic Finance, National Counter-Terrorism HQ).- Achieved a vastly accelerated budget setting and approval timetable, bringing it forward by six months.
