Program launched and scaled meeting key performance indicators by the end of year one. Primary activities include fundraising, community engagement, program management, and impact and evaluation. Work alongside the CEO to ensure business objectives and strategic priorities are met and operations run seamlessly.

Qualistar is committed to improving and expanding high-quality early childhood education across Colorado addressing persistent achievement gaps before they even have a chance to develop. Qualistar supports child care providers by rating programs and improving quality through college scholarships for teachers, capital grants to improve facilities, and data and analysis to strengthen federal, state, and local policy.Oversight and management of $3.7MM operating budget including government contracts, fee for service, public and private philanthropy and fundraising strategy development. Collaboratively defined an organizational culture needed to support a highly effective team. Created effective on-boarding program and redesigned the performance management system. Developed a strategy to achieve the desired culture grounded in fun, teamwork, mutual respect, trust and innovation. Rebuilt relationships with government partners to advance mission of the organization and cultivated strategic partnerships with key stakeholders in the early care and education sector. Launched new business line in training - both face-to-face delivery and planning for a competency-based micro-credentialing system. Improved financial reporting to include program based profitability reports and to provide greater transparency for leadership.

Founded in 2005, Generation Schools is a nationally recognized organization dedicated to whole- school innovation. Our work includes starting schools in long-failed campuses (example: Brooklyn Generation School, West Generation Academy) and partnering with existing schools committed to improving achievement for all students. Responsible for fundraising strategy creation, implementation and management. Oversaw development and stewardship all foundation relationships and funding requests as well as the corporate and individual giving program. Worked closely alongside the executive team and board members to outline board recruitment and engagement strategies and to create a dynamic marketing and communications plan.

Rose Community Foundation is a public charity that advances inclusive, engaged and equitable Greater Denver communities through values-driven philanthropy. Responsibilities included supporting the Director of Philanthropic Services in the development and implementation of an organizationally integrated development strategy for the Foundation. Charged with creating numerous, strategically aligned, efficient and compelling opportunities for donors to support the Foundation and to make the experience of giving satisfying and rewarding. Working in conjunction with the Planned Giving Officer to develop a comprehensive program for planned and legacy giving. Acting as the Foundation’s representative to the wealth management and estate planning communities, sharing the Foundation’s value statement and creating a pipeline of new gifts.

Directed the program, development and administrative activities of the organization. Worked with the Board of Directors to set vision and strategies. Responsible for the effective use of financial and human resources. Managed and implemented operating budget from no budget to $540K in 2007. Developed comprehensive Fundraising Program including Annual Giving Campaign, Donor Advised Fund Program, Donor Recognition Program and four high impact annual events. Chaired Northwestern Colorado Rural Philanthropy Days Summer 2005.
